Sunnybank Youth Evangelistic Event

All the local youth groups in Sunnybank are combining for a night of fun, worship, and to explore the quest "Getting Connected to God." Friday 14th October, 5:30pm at Sunnybank District Baptist Church. Invite all your highschool friends.

Fundraising for Cambodia

July 2011

The youth have been busy BBQing sausages and selling softdrinks. They have managed to raise a whopping $1038. This will be sent to Cambodia in order to help Missionaries Bruce and Raija run a youth leadership development camp for the locals. Over $600 has also been donated to by used for a medical clinic that Leanne will be running in the local villages. Praise be to God for this generous giving!

Church Youth Service

The youth group is taking over the morning service. Will be an exciting and God filled morning of praise and worship with our great leader Ben Chapman delivering a great word.

PRAYER+PRAISE Night

More than 6 different youth groups from different denominations in the Sunnybank area gathered together for some enthusiastic youth-style worship and to pray for the needs of our world, our community, and each other. While there may be a few things that we do differently, we are all joined in our love for Jesus as our lord and saviour and there was wonderful unity and great participation on the night. Neighbourhood Blitz

A team of youth from Runcorn Christian Church went on a "Neighbourhood Blitz". They mowed and tidied a number of neglected yards in the local community. Neighbourhood Blitz was an initiative of one of the youth members. He was asked by one very thankful neighbour, "what prompted the idea?" He replied that he'd noticed when his own elderly neighbours had struggled to look after their yard, and thought this was a great way to show God's love and concern to people in the community.
